tutorials for Mom and Aunt Sis

To save my blog to your favorites:
Assuming you're using Internet Explorer, which you probably are, you should see a yellow star near the top left of your screen. Next to that, you should see a yellow star with a green plus sign on it. The yellow star will open your "Favorites". The green plus sign will let you add a site to your Favorites. Click the green plus sign, then click "Add to Favorites". That's it! It'll add whatever site you're currently sitting on. From now on, to find the site you just bookmarked, all you have to do is click the yellow star, and it'll bring up a list of all the links you've created.

If you don't see the green plus sign and the yellow star, there's another way. At the very top of your screen, just below the navigation bar (where you type in the web address you want to visit), you'll see "file", "edit", "view", "favorites", "tools", and "help". Click on "favorites", and then click "add to favorites". Easy peasy!

To comment on my blog:
At the end of every blog post, you'll see "posted by Stacy K at whatever time." Right after that, you'll see "6 comments", or however many there happen to be. Click on that link. (You can tell it's a link because it's a different color, and your cursor turns into a pointing hand when you roll over it.)

The link will take you to a page that lets you read all previous comments, and also leave your own. You don't need to have an account to leave a comment here. Just click "anonymous" after you type your message. But make sure you sign your name so I'll know who the anonymous comment is from! :)

I hope this helps.
I tried not to speak in too foreign of a language.
Now... COMMENT so I'll know it made sense to you. :0
Love you!

Hi, and how has your rainy day been? I had the kids today; they have head lice. I've had the creepycrawlies all day like I used to get when someone had a tick on them. Most of their daycare is out with them & they have a zero nit policy. How we raised you 5 kids and never had lice is evidently a major miracle, because everyone else's kids had them and all your cousins except for Kev & Marty, but their kids have. They must be a total nightmare to deal with. David is about to pull his hair out with the expense, the washing and cleaning and combing and looking plus all the laundry, upholstery, carpet, fabricky toys, clothing and all. YUCK!!! They had a very busy weekend and the school wouldn't let the kids stay today even with proof that they had been treated. They were checking the kids as they arrived for nits and from his desvription of the way it was being done, if a kid didn't have 'em when they arrived, they will in a few days from cross-contamination via the woman's hands. And it's a miracle with all the little that stayed here that we never had them. Got everything else kids can get from school age siblings, though. That is how my rainy day went. Sis called and told me this was on here from you and sent hers twice, but that it wasn't going through. So we'll see if mine does. I'm going to type this weird word first then anonymous. Love, MOM

Okay Stace--this is the third time I've tried this. Bec says I need to type those silly letters so hope it goes through. I think this is neat cause I'll get to write you every now and then--so thanks girl.
Hey--I'm so very proud of you losing all that weight. And I know how hard it is cause I've lost 30 myself. Have about ten more to go. Want to get around 170--but don't want to lose any more because so far my skin is not sagging too much---ooh doesn't that just sound gross---anyway, keep after it girl. I'm sure you're a real inspiration to a lot of people. Can't wait to see you--your mom says you look fantastic.
Well-just nine more months and I will be a permanent resident of Edmond. Hope I can make it--I'm now teaching two classes of pre-algebra and two of regular seventh grade math. The pre-algebra I really enjoy because those are the smart kids and the ones who really care.
Well, gonna send this now to see if it works. Love you girl and talk to you soon.
Sis

YAY!!! You did it! I forgot that you have to enter those silly letters. It keeps my blog from getting slammed with comment spam, though, so it's a necessary evil. I'm glad you figured it out. I look forwarding to hearing from you more often now that you're not so scared of the computer. Bwahaha! Love you!
